Meet Darlene
Darlene has been a lifelong Bible student, finding joy in reading and digging into God’s Word. She has had the privilege to share lessons from the Word with women in class, retreat, ladies days, and lecture settings over the past 35 years. During this time, she has developed Biblical studies to encourage women to delve deeply into scripture and to apply them in their lives. In 2020, she formed Gracious Goodness Ministries as a means of making scripture-rich studies available to Christian women.
She has also had a lifelong love of cooking and baking, using her kitchen to find ways to serve others. There have been many culinary adventures, but none quite as audacious as the adventure of designing, building, and operating a country inn and conference center, Butterfly Meadows Inn & Farm in Middle Tennessee, with her husband, Norman. Tens of thousands of meals were served around their table. Darlene is delighted to be able to share with you the collection of recipes that were enjoyed by so many at the inn and the methods developed for success in the kitchen.
Darlene and Norman have worked with several congregations to strengthen and enrich their Bible study programs to benefit everyone from babies to adults in learning more about God’s Word.
